'Visitor Q' Director: Takashi Miike (2001) Radiance Blu-ray, new master | Limited Edition-5,000 copies, booklet included| Japanese/English subs
Dark satire, Takashi Miike's most transgressive film yet: unflinching yet darkly humorous, Visitor Q pushes the limits of filmic representation as far as they will go. Despite the plot influence of Pasolini's 'Theorem' wherein a dysfunctional family is changed one by one by a stranger's presence, is a singular work.
