'Trouble Every Day' Director: Claire Denis (2001) Eureka Masters of Cinema Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray | Hardbound slipcase | French and English w/ English subtitles

French auteur Claire Denis' first excursion into genre cinema is an erotically charged exploration of our darkest human desires - a dark and lyrical rumination on the pleasures of the flesh - and a key film in the development of the New French Extremity movement.

When doctor Shane and his new wife are honeymooning in Paris, he has other plans for their trip. He is hoping to track down his former medical colleague and discuss a past study into the human libido. But his former colleague doesn’t want to be found – he is living in obscurity to hide his own wife, who has developed an insatiable, cannibalistic lust as a result of his outlandish experiments. A lust that Shane is beginning to feel, too…

Starring Vincent Gallo, Tricia Vessey, Alex Dascas and Béatrice Dalle.
