Bittersweet, formally imaginative and memorable Belgian film. Thomas, now in old age, believes he was accidentally swapped at birth during the chaos of a fire in the maternity ward which resulted in his neighbour Alfred living the life of privilige and good fortune which should have been Thomas's. The story cuts between time frames where Thomas re-imagines himself as a secret agent and hero, attempting to come to terms with heartbreak.
