'Nosferatu the Vampyre' Director: Werner Herzog (1979) BFI 4K Ultra HD German w/ English subtitles or English audio

In spite of grim omens, an estate agent leaves his wife in their idyllic town to venture deep into the Carpathian mountains where he is to close a property deal with the strangest of clients.. Starring Klaus Kinski, Isabelle Adjani and Bruno Ganz.

Werner Herzog's masterful contribution to the vampire canon is both a tribute to F.W. Murnau's 1922 film and a thoughtful chiller in its own right. Kinski's exquisite performance, Herzog's painterly images and Popol Vuh's ethereal music combine to create a hypnotic and seductive horror experience.
