A warm and funny film which was a major success on the international film festival circuit. A Moscow based Finnish archaeology student decides to visit an ancient site in Murmansk in the Arctic Circle. On her long train journey she shares a compartment with a boorish Russian man making the same journey to work in the mines. The more time they spend together the more their facades slip and they make a connection.
