The 1925 classic, a landmark of world cinema, collides with synths, beats, and choral textures that reframe its images of mutiny, repression, and collective struggle. This unlikely pairing transforms one of cinema's most studied works into a startingly modern, urgent audiovisual experience.

First revealed in 2004 to an estimated audience of 25,000 at a special outdoor screening in Trafalgar Square, Pet Shop Boys' score was performed with the Dresdner Sinfoniker and orchestrated by Torsten Rasch.
